Alexandra Kay Vøhtz’s Copenhagen exhibition displayed some of her earlier abstract figurative studies of the female body. Using bold, vibrant pigments, curvaceous figures evoke a sensuality. Showing no perceived identity, the paintings focus on the body as the subject, emphasising the divinity as well as alluding to the vulnerability of the female form.
